Our Story
We’re El Burno and Ace Burns
—two brothers, two musicians, two moose, one improbable mission.
El Burno is the first moose ever hired by the National Park Service. He’s a blues-loving park ranger by day, covert agent by necessity, and occasional poet when the campfire’s burning low. He believes in wild spaces, soulful tunes, and defending what matters—quietly, bravely, and without fanfare.
Ace? Well, Ace is a ski-bum-turned-search-and-rescue-captain-slash-bass-player. He thinks maps are optional, snacks are sacred, and that if you fall off a cliff with style, it still counts as a landing. He’s the chaos. Burno’s the compass.
Together, we operate a network of animals, agents, and oddballs protecting parks, wildlife, and the public good. This site? It’s how we keep the wheels turning (and the strings tuned).

We've lived and worked in some of America's most iconic National Parks and public lands, and we carry that spirit in everything we do.
Our mission goes beyond quality products—we are committed to supporting other parkie and military families. A portion of every sale is donated to causes and organizations that uplift and assist those who serve, protect, and preserve the natural and civic fabric of our country.
